Age 88, our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away December 13, 2019. He was born November 3, 1931 in Racine, Wisconsin. David earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin, and nearly completed his Doctorate Degree at Michigan State University.
He was a Professor of Western Civilization at Lansing Community College and retired after 45 years of teaching. He was a past chairman of the History Department. David enjoyed playing chess and he achieved the Master’s level in the game. He loved classical music.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lillian Arganian; his son, David G. (Elizabeth) Arganian; his granddaughter, Tamar Arganian; brother, Mourad (Roberta) Arganian; nephew, John Arganian; niece, Jeannie (David) Bidner and their 2 children, Katie and Robert; niece, Florence Nalbandian; and many other family members and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Hovsep and Mary Arganian, and his sister, Araxy.
Visitation is from 11:00 – 12:00 noon with funeral services at 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI 48917 with Pastor Rod Kalajainen officiating. Interment will be in Delta Center Cemetery.
