Obituary of Marilyn E. Wilcox
Marilyn (Molly) Wilcox was called home to be with her Lord on June 6, 2018. Molly was born on November 13, 1962 and was 55 years old. She was a US Navy Veteran and retired from Michigan Department of Corrections. She was devout in her faith and loved God.
Molly is survived by her mother, Vivian Graham of Lansing; and her father, Wayne (Jackie) Wilcox of Lake City. She is also survived by sisters, Cristi (Scott) Bradley, Minette (Scott) McClain, Dana (Jim) Saldona, and Dara Goolsby; and brothers, Wayne (Patty) Wilcox Jr., Allan (Teresa) Sonfilippo-Wilcox, Marc (Katrina) Wilcox, Russell (Kelly) Wilcox, David (Waverly) Wilcox, Jeff Wilcox, and Deron Goolsby. Molly was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Wilcox.
Molly had 19 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews, and every one of them felt special when they were with her - like they were her favorite - such is the love she had for her family.
Molly was a member of the Holt Seventh Day Adventist Church and was looking forward to going home to be with her Heavenly Father.
Memorial Service is 12:00 Noon Monday, June 18, 2018 at Lansing Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5400 W. St. Joseph Hwy, Lansing, with Pastor Chuck Hanlin officiating. The family will receive friends 11 AM – 12 Noon prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Worthy Student Fund, Lansing SDA Church, 5400 W. St. Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917 c/o Jeff Allen, Treasurer.
