Obituary of Frank Kueppers

Frank Charles Kueppers, 87, went to be with His Lord on September 28, 2018.  He was born August 14, 1931 to Frederick Arthur and Florence Matilda (Michel) Kueppers in St. Paul, MN.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margaret and Florence Kueppers; son, Paul Kueppers; and grandson, Christopher Truax.  He is survived by his wife, Norma; 3 daughters, Margaret (Thomas) McGuinness, Anne Marie (Bill) Truax, and Julie Anne (Mark) Cox;  2 sons, Gregory Paul Jude Kueppers and Kevin Jude Kueppers; step-daughter, Amy Marie (Gregory) Munguia; and 2 step-sons, William C. (Alexis) Krieger and Brook (Jolene) Krieger; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Frederick Kueppers, Theodore Kueppers, Robert Kueppers, and William Kueppers; and 3 sisters, Susan Kueppers, Barbara Fitzpatrick, and Mary Lou Wheeler.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.  Frank was formerly Business Administrator for St. Lawrence Hospital and Burcham Hills.  He was a member of Catholic Community of St. Jude, Knights of Columbus, and the VFW.  He served on a committee for the US Post Office, was a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen in Lansing, and served on a prison ministry in Manistee, MI.  He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, and he enjoyed attending Neil Diamond concerts.  Funeral Mass is 10:30 AM Friday, October 5, at Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge St., DeWitt with Fr. Robert Irish officiating.  Visitation is 9:30-10:30 AM Friday prior to the service.  Interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Vincent Catholic Charities, 2800 Willow St., Lansing, MI 48917.
