Obituary of Earnest Bullion
Age 86, was called home to his Lord on November 17, 2018. Born July 18, 1932 in Lansing, MI. Earnie had 3 careers beginning as an engineer with the Lansing Fire Department for 12 years, and as a trooper with the Michigan State Police for 9 years, and later as the Sergeant at arms for the Michigan House of Representatives until his retirement in 1992.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Rosemary E. Bullion; 3 children, Mark (Marlene) Bullion, Debra Brown, and Susan (David) Beck; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; brother, Duane Bullion; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Earnie was preceded in death by his 2 sons, Danny Bullion and Michael Green; parents, Francis and Margaret; 3 siblings, Frank, Evart, and Dolores. The family wishes to show their appreciation to a “Special Angel” Heather Clayton and the Heartland Hospice, Jennifer, Emily, and Pastor Jeff, and all the caregivers for all they have done for Earnie.
Visitation is from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Judson Baptist Church, 531 Glendale Ave., Lansing with Rev. Zachary Bartels, Pastor officiating. Viewing will be at the church one hour prior to service. Contributions may be made to Judson Baptist Church in memory of Earnest.
