Dale Emory Allison
Dale checked out of his temporary body, and checked into his eternal heavenly home on July 13, 2019 at the age of 81. Born October 1, 1937 in Sparta, Michigan. Dale retired in 1996 from the State of Michigan as a system analyst after 30 years of service. He received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ferris State. He was a devoted member, past treasurer, past deacon, and usher at Maranatha Baptist Church. He read thru his bible over 20 times, and was a student of God’s word. He enjoyed using his I-Pad reading and working word puzzles. He loved watching sporting events, including the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings, and was an especially avid University of Michigan fan, but most of all a faithful and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lois E. Allison; 3 children Pamela (Benjamin) Krom, Douglas Dale (Emily) Allison, and Keith Emory (Marcia) Allison; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Lee and Bernice V. (Ching) Allison.
Visitation is from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 15, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Maranatha Baptist Church, 2300 N. Waverly Road, Lansing, MI 48906 with Pastor Glenn M. Ray, Jr. officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at church. Interment will be later Tuesday at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Grand Rapids, MI.
