Judith Susanne Coriz, 81, surrounded by family, peacefully passed away on February 18, 2020.  She was born on October 16, 1938 in Jackson, MI.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Bud” Holmes and Phyllis Holmes; two sons, John and Steve Rhodabeck; her Sister, Nancy Westlund; and brother, Michael Holmes.  She is survived by her siblings, Kathy Holmes-Lyon, Stewart Holmes (Cathy), and Jim Holmes (Cathy); daughter, Kaye Rhodabeck; four sons, Richard Rhodabeck (Rebecca), Tom Rhodabeck (Lori), Dave Rhodabeck (Lisa), and Raymond Coriz Jr. (AnnaMarie); sixteen grandchildren, Hilary Rhodabeck, Caitlyn Rhodabeck, Jasmine Joyner, Amber Holm, Erica Rhodabeck, Shereese Rhodabeck, Brooke Rhodabeck, Ryan Rhodabeck, Daniel Rhodabeck, Jonathan Rhodabeck, Lathan Smith, Stephanie Smith, Pamela Ewart, Mandy Hernandez (Coriz), Malachi Coriz, and JiAnna Coriz; twenty-three great-grandchildren, Alexander, Andrew, Christopher, Alexandria, Hunter, Haleigh, Alexis, Destinee, Jesus, Victoria, Bryce, Aria, Olivia, Isaac, Vivian, Charlotte, Emery, Pearl, August, Vivienne, Lauren, Andrea, and Gracie; two great-great grandchildren, Estella and Alliaia; and many nieces and nephews.  

Judith worked her entire life in the hospitality and management field with her last years spent working in Mackinac Island, MI.  During her life she lived in many different locations around the country but was very fond of her time spent in New Mexico, Florida, and Michigan.  Up until her death, she lived in her cottage located in Sears (Big Lake) Michigan, where she continued following her passions of photography, being a seamstress, environmental advocate, gardening, canning, visiting farmers markets, reading books, arts & crafts, cooking, and traveling.
