Dr. Harvey Edward Goldberg, D.D.S.
Age 88, our loving and caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on March 13, 2020. Born May 2, 1931 in Highland Park, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean War. Dr. Goldberg graduate from Michigan State University earning his Bachelor’s Degree and University of Michigan earning the title of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).
Dr. Goldberg practiced for over 42 years from 1960 -2002. He wished to be personable with all his patients and take the time with everyone he met. He was always there to help any patient in need. He would enjoy his personal time and his privacy too. He was an avid bowler. But most of all, he loved his many pet dogs throughout his lifetime.
Surviving are his 5 children: Karen (Orlando) Montoya, Edward (Elizabeth) Goldberg, Nancy Lynn Draper (Ricky McDaniels), Glenn (Zita) Goldberg, and Sheila (Dan) Bowman; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Morton Goldberg; and many other family members and friends. Dr. Goldberg was preceded in death by his former wife and mother of his children, Anna Goldberg; parents, Samuel and Hilda Goldberg; sister, Doris Rose; brother, Herman Goldberg.
Dr. Goldberg’s wish was to be private with no services being held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or to an animal rescue program of your choice in memory of Dr. Harvey E. Goldberg.
